Stainless Wire Phosphated
For normal steel wire, phosphate coating has been used for about 100 years to build up a tribo system to enable cold forging. Till today, it is the best solution for complex forging operations. For stainless steel, such phosphating did not exist, so the standard has been oxalate coating with its difficulties. Hangzhou XZB has developed a new technology to phosphate wire that allows for the coating of stainless steel as well. First tests show very good results.
