Efficient Cable Insulation & Impeccable Spark Test Results

For the power cable industry, and especially true for the automotive cables industry, it is extremely important to achieve total insulation of the electrical conductor (copper or aluminum, in most cases). Spark test technology is widely utilized in order to ensure that every centimeter produced is fully insulated.

The spark test machine is employed to detect any holes in the plastic layer covering the cable conductor, which is known as insulation, and consequently, a leakage of the electrical current. Even when the holes in the insulation are small, they can result in unwanted effects such as energy leaks and loss of electricity, thus creating serious problems in an electrical circuit.
