How to Spool Braiding Spools With High Quality & Efficiency
Maschinenfabrik Niehoff GmbH & Co. KG, which is headquartered in Schwabach, Germany develops
and builds machines that are used for the production of wires made from nonferrous metals and
the further processing into automotive, data and special cables. The program also includes wire
rewinding systems. These systems spool wires drawn on multiwire or fine wire drawing machines
onto braiding spools for rotary braiding machines.
The rewinding machines are designed for round or flat wire manufactured from copper, aluminum,
stainless steel or textile materials.
And depending on the payoff system, wire bundles with cross section of up to 0.8 mm² (18 AWG) as
well as single wire diameters of 0.05 to 0.40 mm (44 to 26 AWG) can be spooled. One version with
individually driven spooling position also enables the wire bundles to be split from the payoff point.
The maximum production speed of these rewinding machines from Niehoff is 600 mpm (1969 fpm).
Fully Automatic Rewinding Machine
The Niehoff program includes the fully automatic four-spindle machine type DSA-4 and two-spindle
machines that work fully automatically (the DSA-2) or semi-automatically (the DSH-2).
