Flat wires help make better use of space in EVs, and a higher occupancy range increases EV motor power. In recent years, the electrification of vehicles such as electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles, has been advanced rapidly with the aim of reducing environmental impact. As electric vehicles (EVs) gain in popularity, suppliers are challenged to help achieve the required fuel/motor efficiency. This means finding ways to save space, improve engine performance and output density and increase motor output. Flat wires help by making better use of space in EVs, and a higher occupancy range increases power. New fluoropolymer solutions for flat wire jackets are making it possible for automakers to move away from traditional rounded wires.
