Scaling Fiber Capacity Without Breaking the Building

The data connections within buildings and facilities are being under pressure from all sides, not only are the data consumption habits of users (and devices) increasing rapidly year on year, but the number of devices on a network has increased astronomically too. For example, a facility such as a hospital will have thousands of connected devices. And while figures are hard to come by, one relatively small healthcare group recently reported it had over 11,000 connected medical and IoT systems across its facilities, and that this number had more doubled in just four years.
